Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter?

Set construction will begin next week for Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter.  Fox seems to be pushing the Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) film out quickly, assumably to strike while the zombie iron is hot and that so no one has the chance to ask "Wait...what?".

Here's a story breakdown from Daily Blam:
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter re-imagining of Lincoln's life that depicts the 16th president as an axe-throwing, highly accomplished killer of vampires, an obsession of his since those bloodsuckers supposedly took the life of his mother. Lincoln eventually learns that the vampires have fled to the southern states of the U.S. and are concocting a plan to conquer and enslave the entire country – this in turn leads to the Civil War between the Union and the Confederacy, the latter of which the vampires are aligned with.

Casting hasn't been revealed, yet pre-production has begun and a release date of June 22nd, 2012 has been set proving that release dates are way more important than casting choices.

If all that doesn't seem jumbled enough, Tim Burton is producing, Eric Bana is expected to play Lincoln, and Bekmambetov wants to shoot in 3D.
